Legacy Wildlife Services is a division of Natural Resource Planning Services, Inc. (NRPS), a consulting forestry firm with over 30 years experience in the Southeastern United States. Specializing in wildlife consulting and hunting lease management, Legacy provides wildlife management-related services to a diverse clientele including small and large landowners, timber companies, hunting clubs, government agencies, and conservation groups. Currently, Legacy has over 250,000 acres under hunting lease management.

JOHN A. "TONY" WALLACE, CF, Chief Operating Officer

Tony was born and raised in Mississippi and holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from Mississippi State University. Tony worked briefly for Weyerhaeuser Corporation and the Florida Division of Forestry. In 1989, Tony joined Natural Resource Planning Services, Inc. and has worked as a Senior Forester, Operations Manager for the Gainesville office, and Senior Appraiser. In 2005, Tony was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and now also serves on the NRPS Board of Directors. Tony’s primary responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of NRPS, and providing NRPS and Legacy Wildlife Services’ clients with a wide range of services, including land and timber appraisals, forestry consulting, investment analysis, and real estate brokerage.   Click here to view Tony Wallace’s resume.

JEFF BEWSHER, Manager of Wildlife Services, Certified Wildlife Biologist

Jeff is responsible for managing the Legacy Wildlife Division, including the hunting lease management program, wildlife management services, and environmental consulting. Jeff comes from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources with experience in white-tailed deer and black bear management. Jeff has a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Biology from Frostburg State University in Western Maryland. Jeff also brings considerable experience with on-the-ground wildlife management such as prescribed burning, food plots establishment and maintenance, wildlife population counts, and game species biology.   Click here to view Jeff Bewsher’s resume.

GUY F. “GATOR” BANKS, Timberland Security Manager

Born and raised in the St. Augustine, Florida area, Gator grew up in the forests and on the waters of pristine "old Florida” and began pursuing a career as a Wildlife Officer as soon as he was old enough to work in law enforcement. After a successful 30-year career, 25 of which as a Wildlife Officer, Gator retired from law enforcement and joined NRPS as Timberland Security Manager.
